EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

At Buddy Bike, LLC, we feel that our customers are our best advertising. We are seeking demonstrators to represent the Buddy Bike at various tradeshows, expos and public events in their geographical area. Our ideal candidates will have a first-hand experience with the Buddy Bike and be enthusiastic and outgoing about sharing those experiences with other families and individuals.

Candidates must provide their own Buddy Bike. Promotional materials will be provided. This is a subcontract position. A daily rate (half-day or full-day) will be provided. Booth fees and some event expenses may be covered. Candidates will distribute information but will not sell bikes at these events. Referral fee program will not apply to any resulting sales.

Buddy Bike seeks a college student for an internship the 2008-2009 school year. Maximum hours 15 per week. This is a non-paying position. Student must arrange the internship with their university and verify that credits may be earned. Location is in North Miami Beach, Florida.

Our ideal candidate will be a Business Administration or Marketing student seeking real, on-the-job experience. The candidate will support the Business Manager in all aspects of business operation and marketing. Duties may include answering phones, soliciting sales, customer service, web site maintenance, preparation of direct mailings and e-mail, internet research to build contact database, preparation of event display items, scheduling of trade shows and events including airline/hotel reservations and possible local event attendance and much more. Some tasks may seem tedious but the rewards of providing a product that serves the special needs community are priceless. It may be helpful if the candidate is athletic and enjoys bicycling. Sports Medicine, Physical Education Teachers and Therapists may also be considered for this position. Candidate should also be very comfortable with PC and programs in the Microsoft Office Suite.
